Carrie Underwood Scores 4th Consecutive Number One

Thursday April 12, 2007
Carrie Underwood © 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville Carrie Underwood becomes the first country female to achieve four No. 1 songs from her debut album, Some Hearts, as "Wasted" tops the charts this week. She joins labelmates Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson as the three most recent country artists to hit this milestone.

Her previous No. 1 songs were "Jesus, Take the Wheel," "Don't Forget to Remember Me," and "Before He Cheats." (Note: "Don't Forget to Remember Me" was a No. 1 on the R&R Chart, but peaked at No. 2 on Billboard.) All four singles are from her now certified 5-times Platinum album, Some Hearts.

Still want more Carrie? Look for her to be featured on the May issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, on stands now.

Just wondering… when is Carrie Underwood going to be coming out with her 2nd CD. I can’t wait to hear it.
