What to Listen for on Country Radio this week
Tuesday September 18, 2007
This week, there are quite a few new singles being released. Country duo Halfway to Hazard, hot off the Soul 2 Soul tour releases their second single, a very different sound than their debut "Daisy." This one is called "Devil and the Cross," and it's actually my favorite track on their self-titled debut album. Craig Morgan puts out "International Harvester" this week. If you haven't seen the video for this yet, be sure to watch for it. The beginning cracked me up. Sugarland have released "Stay," which is really touching a lot of folk's hearts with it's touching video. Faith Hill has a brand new track, "Red Umbrella." Shooter Jennings covers Dire Straits' "Walk of Life." Ashton Shepherd releases "Takin' Off This Pain," and Equity Recording artist Laura Bryna releases a beautifully touching tune called "Make a Wish."
Check out what Jennifer has to say about all these songs, and listen to clips of each of them.
