Joey + Rory Celebrate Top 10 Debut of The Life of The Song

Sunday November 9, 2008
Sugar Hill Artists Joey + Rory celebrated the Top 10 debut of their album The Life of The Song with a party at The Station Inn in Nashville. The album debuted at No. 10 on the Country Album charts, and their debut single "Cheater, Cheater" just broke the Top 40.

Rory addressed the standing-room-only crowd, saying, "A year ago, we never would have predicted what 2008 would bring...Joey was in an apron waiting tables in her restaurant and I was in an office just writing songs. To now have a Top 10 album and a Top 40 single—I can’t even say it’s a dream come true, because as big of dreamers we are...we never could've dreamed this."

I love Joey’s voice. It is so clear and has that real country sound. Cheater Cheater I find myself singing all the time. It is a catchey tune. I think they will go far.
