Rodney Atkins to Release It's America on March 31

Rodney Atkins will release It's America, his follow up album to his Platinum-selling album If You're Going Through Hell on March 31.

Coming from an album that produced four No. 1 songs, Rodney's next release marks the next chapter in his career.

Representing the common man in two of his previous No. 1's "If You're Going Through Hell" and "Watching You," Atkins continues the connection with the title track, and current single, currently sitting at No. 11 on the charts. The song is a patriotic fist-pumper that he first debuted on the 2008 CMA Awards show. The feel good message comes at a time when so many people are looking for something good to hope for.

In talking about the album, Rodney says, "With this record, I knew I wanted to keep making songs that folks can sing along with and laugh at and pump their fists to. Sometimes it is the simple things in this great country that really make me appreciate it. When we share this sense of pride through music, you become friends with everybody listening. It's an honor to go out there and represent the everyday man, and to represent country music and what it's all about."
