Dean Brody Soaks in Opry Experience

Broken Bow Records artist Dean Brody was all smiles as he made his Opry debut on April 17.

In a press release Brody commented, "I was a little nervous to step in the circle knowing the history of all the great artists that have done so in the past. It definitely was a thrill and a dream come true. That moment on the Opry stage was a career highlight for me and a moment I will never forget."

Brody played his touching Top 25 hit "Brothers" as well as an album cut called "This Old Raft." Both songs will be on his upcoming self-titled album due in stores on April 28.

Dierks Bentley heads Down Under

Dierks Bentley is prepping this week for his first-ever Australian tour with Brooks & Dunn. They will hit Perth on May 1, and continue on to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane through May 9.

In a press release, Dierks said, "We got a taste of international touring last summer when we played all over Europe, and I'm hooked. I've heard that Australia has some hard-core country music fans, so I am looking forward to getting down there and playing for them. You can't go to Australia without exploring the local culture in the pubs, so I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't equally as excited about that."

Before heading to Australia, Dierks is scheduled to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 28, and after returning, he will do The Bonnie Hunt Show on May 14, followed by a trip to New York to appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Bentley's current single is Sideways, and it's already sitting just outside the Top 10 after a mere six weeks on the charts. The song can be found on his album Feel That Fire.
