Kenny Chesney will close out CMA Music Festival

The Country Music Association has announced that country superstar Kenny Chesney will close out the Sunday night show at LP Field. The entertainer is taking a break in his Sun City Carnival Tour between stops in Chicago on Saturday, and Somerset, Wisconsin on June 19. Chesney hasn't played CMA Music Festival since 2006.

Other artists on the Sunday night bill include: Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, John Rich of Big & Rich, Taylor Swift and Heidi Newfield.

Also announced are the addition of Jimmy Wayne and Jason Michael Carroll. Both will perform acoustic sets during the LP Field shows. Wayne will appear on Thursday, June 11, and Carroll will appear on Saturday, June 13.
