Lyle Lovett Readying Natural Forces for Oct 20 Release

It's been a pretty big year for new releases from some of country music's biggest stars, and so many of those discs have been saved for the fourth quarter, it seems. Adding to the list of hot albums hitting stores in time for the holiday shopping season is a new one from Lyle Lovett.

Natural Forces will be Lovett's twelfth release, and he wrote half the 12 songs on the disc. The other six were written by fellow Texans like David Ball, Don Sanders, Eric Taylor, and the late, great Townes Van Zandt. The disc will include Lovett's Large Band, and you can preview some tunes on Lost Highway Records' website. But, if you'd rather wait until release day, you can mark your calendar for Oct 20.
