Taylor Swift walked away with one of the night's top honors at the 58th annual BMI Pop Awards in Los Angeles last night, winning song of the year for her self-penned hit song "Love Story."
The award is just another to add to her already full mantle, which includes trophies won last year at the same ceremony. She picked up a Pop Award for "Teardrops on My Guitar," in addition to the coveted BMI President's Award. "Love Story," the first single from her sophomore album Fearless, also picked up the song of the year honor at the 2009 BMI Country Awards, awarded in November.

I am glad she won for Love Story, thats a great song and she is a very talented songwriter, nobody can say different on that. Congratulations Taylor, but good grief, wherever will you keep all these trophies, you must have had to build a room just for them alone.
good, give her the pop awards. THOSE she definetly deserves. leave the country awards to the true country artists.
