Country Music at the White House

Follow me on:

You read the title right.

The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley, Kris Kristofferson, and James Taylor (?) showed up at In Performance at the White House to serenade the President and PBS viewers like you.

Considering the ruckus over Common appearing at the First Lady's poetry night, I'm surprised they invited one of the biggest thugs in country music to the event.

I'm talking about Lyle Lovett, who has a song about killing a woman on her wedding day.

(Where's Fox News when you need them?)

If you missed the program when it aired last week, you can watch the whole thing online.
