Alan Jackson has been receiving good notices for his new album Thirty Miles West.
It's the singer's first album from his own label Alan's Country Records (part of a new deal with EMI), after leaving his longtime home at Arista Records.
Read my review to find out why the song "When I Saw You Leaving (For Nicey)" is one of the most personal tunes the country singer has ever written.
