Garth Brooks Review: Sevens

Dateline: 12/15/97

Garth Brooks - Sevens

Has it really been nearly three weeks since I first held Sevens in my hands? It certainly doesn't seem that long. No matter... what I will say is this:

gold ball  A day hasn't gone by when I haven't listened to the CD at least 3 times, all the way through.

gold ball  The CD itself never seems to eject from my CD player.

gold ball  I haven't listened to the radio for more than maybe 1 hour total since I bought my Sevens CD.

gold ball  I can be reading a book, or cooking dinner, or cleaning the house, or just about any other thing, and one of the songs from Sevens will beckon to me, and I will rush to turn on the CD player and listen.

gold ball  While talking to friends, they'll mention something, and I'll say, "Oh, Garth has a song that says (something to do with what they were talking about.)"

gold ball  For some strange reason, the number 7 is no longer just a number to me anymore. It's a rush of feelings that sends me over the edge screaming, "Garth, you've REALLY done it!!!"

Can you guess that I *LOVE* this album?
