Garth Encounters
rainbow line

Hi,

I thought you might like to see a picture of me with my most prized possession, as well as a picture of me and my friend Garth.

The first one is a picture of me and my guitar that Garth Brooks gave to me during his concert at the 1993 Kansas State Fair. I made the poster you see for him saying, "You're my favorite Cowboy. Please sign here" which he did. And my guitar says "Jolynn Love & God Bless Garth Brooks."

My guitar and poster now rest on loan in the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee.

The second picture is of Garth and myself, taken in Tulsa, Oklahoma on his private bus, July 18, 1997. Garth, on the right is holding a handmade barnwood cowboy mirror with a black Stetson hat band that I gave him, thanking him for giving me his guitar. As he opened it, he smiled really big and said "Very very cool." I also met his dad, Raymond, wife Sandy, and most of his band and crew. I had a great time as my family was with me and my mom got to hug him really good. "He's got lots of muscles."
