When The Sun Goes Down - Kenny Chesney

When The Sun Goes Down - Kenny Chesney

Tim McGraw's "Watch The Wind Blow By" remains at No. 1 for a second week. Toby Keith's "American Soldier" comes in at No. 2, with Brad Paisley's "Little Moments." remaining at No. 3. The first change in the Top 5 this week is the addition of Kenny Chesney's smash duet with Uncle Kracker "When The Sun Goes Down" which moves up 5 spots to the No. 4 spot, and Sara Evans with "Perfect" slips in to the No. 5 spot. Tim's song has lost its bullet, but Kenny and Sara's songs both have bullets, and I'd bet that "When The Sun Goes Down" moves up at least to No. 2 next week, if not capturing the No. 1 spot.

There are three songs this week that are really moving up the charts. The first is Epic newcomer Gretchen Wilson's sassy "Redneck Woman" which moves up 8 in its 3rd week on the charts. Rachel Proctor's tender ballad "Me and Emily" moves up 7 spots in its 3rd week on the charts. American Idol 2 finalist Josh Gracin's mid-tempo "I Want To Live" also in its 3rd week on the charts moves up 5 spots.

Debuting this week is a new group of a mother and her two daughters that you will want to remember. The Jenkins is their name, and the song is "Blame It On Mama." The song debuts at No. No. 51. Tracy Byrd's latest is called "How'd I Wind Up In Jamaica" and it debuts at No. 54. Pinmonkey releases their first single from their upcoming sophomore release called "Let's Kill Saturday Night," and it debuts at No. 57. Joe Nichols also is releasing a new single from an upcoming sophomore release calld "If Nobody Believed In You" and it debuts at No. 60.

Kenny Chesney's When The Sun Goes Down sits atop the album charts for a fifth straight week with Toby Keith nipping at his heels with Shock'n Y'All at No. 2, Alan Jackson's Greatest Hits, Vol II is at No. 3, and Josh Turner moves up one from last week with Long Black Train. Debuting at the No. 5 spot this week is Cross Canadian Ragweed's Soul Gravy.

Other new albums this week come from BR549, with Tangled in the Pines which debuts at No. 58. James Otto's Days of our Lives debuts at No. 61, and Old Crow Medicine Show's OCMS debuts at No. 72.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for March 27, 2004.
