When The Sun Goes Down - Kenny Chesney

When The Sun Goes Down - Kenny Chesney

We have a new No. 1 single this week as Keith Urban tops the chart with "You'll Think Of Me." Kenny Chesney and Uncle Kracker move down one to No. 2 with "When The Sun Goes Down," and Rascal Flatts move up one to No. 3 with "Mayberry." Moving up one spot from last week to No. 4 is "Letters From Home" with Gretchen Wilson also moving up to No. 5 with "Redneck Woman." Next week, I'd guess that Rascal Flatts will move up with "Mayberry" to be our new No. 1 song.

Our biggest moving song this week belongs to Terri Clark with "Girls Lie Too," which moves an incredible 12 spots from No. 43 to No. 31. This song was also the biggest mover last week, moving up 10. This song is hot! Moving half that much are two songs; Martina McBride's "How Far" and Trace Adkins' "Rough & Ready". Martina moves from No. 42 to No. 36, and Trace moves from No. 48 to No. 42. Three songs come in with 5 chart spot increases; Big & Rich's "Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)", Phil Vassar's "In A Real Love" and Brad Paisley's duet with Alison Krauss "Whiskey Lullaby." Big & Rich moves from No. 50 to No. 45, Phil Vassar moves from No. 55 to No. 50, and Brad & Alison move from No. 29 to No. 24.

We have brand new songs from Sara Evans, with the fun "Suds in the Bucket" debuting at No. 49. Columbia newcomer Jessi Alexander releases the title cut from her upcoming album, "Honeysuckle Sweet" which debuts at No. 52. Travis Tritt releases the first single; "The Girl's Gone Wild," from his upcoming mid-summer release My Honkytonk History, which debuts at No. 54. Lastly, Patty Loveless releases "I Wanna Believe" debuting at No. 60.

On the album charts Kenny Chesney remains at No. 1 with When The Sun Goes Down. Keith Urban remains at No. 2 with Golden Road. John Michael Montgomery debuts this week with Letters From Home at No. 3, with Toby Keith at No. 4 with Shock'n Y'All, and Tracy Lawrence drops two spots to No. 5 with Strong.

Other than John Michael Montgomery's Letters From Home, the only other new album this week is Raymond Harris' Hurt By The Best, which debuts at No. 50.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for May 8, 2004.
