Alan Jackson Greatest Hits II

Alan Jackson Greatest Hits II

The story once more is Alan Jackson, who continues his chart dominance with his duet with Jimmy Buffett, "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere," which remains at the Top of the charts for a sixth straight week. On top of that, his album, [link url>http://erclk.about.com/?zi=1/Nd%5dGreatest Hits, Vol II[/link] also tops the album list for a third week. The single keeps its bullet, giving it a good shot at a seventh week at the top.

Other songs in the Top 5 singles charts are Kenny Chesney's "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems," at No. 2. The song has lost its bullet and is most likely heading down the charts. Dierks Bentley with "What Was I Thinking" on the other hand, remains at No. 3 and has a bullet, and has a good chance to move up to No. 2 next week. Tim McGraw with "Real Good Man" moves up one spot to No. 4 with a bullet. Buddy Jewell rounds out the Top 5 with "Help Pour Out The Rain (Lacey's Song)" moving up two spots with a bullet.

New songs debuting this week are "Sell a Lot of Beer" from the Warren Brothers, coming in at 56, Wynonna with "{Heaven Help Me" at 57, and Jeff Bates with "Rainbow Man" at 58. Songs with the most movement on the charts are Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar," at No. 18 in its third week on the charts. Patty Loveless is also a mover and shaker with "Lovin' All Night" sitting at 20 on the charts this week. Patty's song is from her upcoming release, On Your Way Home, which hits streets on September 16th.

On the Top 5 albums charts are Shania Twain's Up at No. 2, Toby Keith's Unleashed, at No. 3, Kenny Chesney with No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems, at No. 4 and Dierk's Bentley's self titled album.

Albums debuting this week are John Michael Montgomery's [link url>http://erclk.about.com/?zi=1/O9%5b]Very Best of John Michael Montgomery[/link] debuting at No. 11, and Rodney Crowell with Fate's Right Hand, debuting at No. 29. NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for September 13, 2003.
