For the fourth week now, Alan Jackson has topped the album charts with his [link url>http://erclk.about.com/?zi=1/Nd%5d]Greatest Hits, Vol II[/link] selling 106,450 copies. And his single, the duet with Jimmy Buffett, "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere" stays on top for yet a seventh week. The song has lost its bullet, and perhaps next week we'll see a new No. 1.

Following on Alan's heels is Capitol Nashville artist Dierks Bentley with "What Was I Thinking," which still has a bullet, making me think this may be our next No. 1 song. In the No. 3 spot is Kenny Chesney's "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems," which continues to move down, having peaked at No. 2 last week. Tim McGraw remains at No. 4 with a bullet with "Real Good Man" followed by Buddy Jewell, who keeps the No. 5 spot from last week with a bullet for his "Help Pour Out The Rain (Lacey's Song)."

Just outside the Top 5 is Martina McBride with her "This One's For The Girls." The song makes a big move from No. 11 last week, keeping the momentum going for her upcoming self-titled album due out on September 30th.

On the album charts are Shania Twain's Up at No. 2, Toby Keith's Unleashed, at No. 3, Kenny Chesney with No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems, at No. 4 and Brooks & Dunn's Red Dirt Road rounding out the Top 5.

Jeff Foxworthy debuts at No. 10 with The Best of Jeff Foxworthy: Double Wide, Single Minded.

New debuts on the singles charts are Sara Evans with "Perfect," at No. 55, Susan Ashton with "She Is," at No. 56, and Brooks & Dunn with "You Can't Take the Honky Tonk Out Of the Girl" at No. 60.

Other songs continuing their move up the charts are Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar," moving up four spots to No. 14 this week, Reba's "I'm Gonna Take That Mountain," which moves up five spots to No. 25. Brad Paisley's "Little Moments" moves up nine spots to No. 46. Jeff Bates' "Rainbow Man" which debuted last week at No. 58 moves up ten spots to No. 48.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for September 20, 2003.
