Montgomery Gentry Plan Hometown Launch of You Do Your Thing

Willie Nelson Postpones Concert Tour Due To Carpal Tunnel Flare-Up

Willie Nelson fans will have to wait a little while before the Red Headed Stranger makes his next concert appearance. Willie has been temporarily sidelined by a case of carpal tunnel syndrome, forcing postponement of the next leg of his tour.

Last week, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Lewis Yocum examined Willie in his Los Angeles office. He determined the eight-time Grammy winner suffers from significant carpal tunnel syndrome aggravated by continuous guitar playing. Electromyographic tests documented the extent of the nerve injury to Willie's wrists and hands. Willie was treated with medication but remained symptomatic, prompting doctors to recommend rest, splinting and medication in an effort to avoid surgery. More...

Del Mccoury Band Make Their First Music Video

It took forty years for Del McCoury to step before the camera for a music video, but once he did, viewers and tastemakers responded. The most recent edition of CMT's Top Twenty Countdown found the Del McCoury Band's "My Love Will Not Change" at #8, wedged between video favorite Kenny Chesney's latest entry and new artist Gretchen Wilson's buzz-heavy debut single. Directed by Roger Pistole and produced by Ruckus Film, the video of the first single from the Grammy-nominated It's Just The Night album, was also a finalist for Best Music Video at last month's Nashville Film Festival. George Jones To Perform At Golden Voice Show On June 10th!

More than two dozen of the biggest and most beloved names in Country Music will take to the stage on June 10th in a concert extravaganza set to provide financial aid to the Performers Benefit Fund.

Thursday, June 10th will mark the date of the “Golden Voice Show” to be presented at the Williamson County Agriculture Expo Center, on I-65S at Exit 61 in Franklin, Tennessee, just a short drive south from the heart of Nashville’s annual June music activities. The event will be staged at 11:00 A.M. Proceeds from the event’s $40.00 ticket will be earmarked for the ‘Performers Benefit Fund,’ a fund set-up to provide financial aid to entertainers in need of assistance. More...

Brad Cotter Debuts On Billboard Chart

"Nashville Star" winner Brad Cotter's debut single "I Meant To" entered the Billboard chart at Number 42 this week, marking the highest entry for a new artist's debut single since January 20, 1990. Cotter debuts on the Grand Ole Opry on May 15. The performance will air on GAC.

Cotter has been added to the Sizzlin' Country benefit concert prior to the ACM Awards on May 25 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.

Mary Chapin Carpenter Announces Summer Tour Plans

Mary Chapin Carpenter's new album Between Here And Gone is currently #2 on Amazon.com's website and has been in the Top 10 sellers since its release on April 26. The album, her first studio project in four years, claimed the #5 spot on Billboard's Country Album chart and #50 on Top 200, her best outing since the release of her multi-platinum disc, Come On, Come On in 1996.

The Columbia recording artist is gearing up to hit the road for a summer tour that kicks off on May 13th in Springdale, CT, taking her up the eastern seaboard and out to the west coast, through the end of August.
