CMA Music Festival After Hours Fun For Both Festival Attendees And Local Nashvillians
For the party-hearty crowd, theres no better place to be Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13 than Downtown Nashville during CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair®. Billed as Country Musics Biggest Party, the event is living up to its reputation with more clubs than ever participating in CMA Music Festival After HoursÔ in 2004.
When the lights go down on The Coliseums Nightly Concerts, the festivities are just beginning at 15 Downtown clubs and lounges, as CMA Music Festival After Hours gets underway. Food and beverage specials, live entertainment and special events are just a few items on the After Hours menu.
The After Hours program has become a great tradition, offered CMA Executive Director Ed Benson. Not only is it an added treat to our out-of-town guests and a boost to Downtown businesses, but its also an opportunity for local Nashvillians to come out and hear great, live music at the clubs for little or no cover charge and take advantage of great specials.
Clubs participating in CMA Music Festival After Hours include Baileys Pub and Grille; Big River Grille and Brewery; BB Kings Blues Club and Restaurant; Hard Rock Café; Legends Corner; Nashville Crossroads; Rippys Smokin Bar and Grill; Roberts Western World; Ryman Auditorium; Second Fiddle; The Stage on Broadway; The Trap; Tootsies Orchid Lounge; Wildhorse Saloon; and Wolfys. Carnival Added To Growing List Of CMA Music Festival Activities
Take the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair® for a spin, or a whirl, or a plunge, or a five-story drop. The Country Music Association announced today that a carnival has been added to the festivities at Country Musics Biggest Party.
With so many families attending the event and a growing number of local residents looking for activities for their children, adding a carnival this year was a natural choice, said CMA Executive Director Ed Benson.
The CMA Music Festival Midway, provided by Belle City Amusements, will be located between the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge and The Coliseum, adjacent to the new CMA Music Festival Sports Zone. Admission is free, but rides require a separate ticket for purchase (75 cents each or a sheet of 40 tickets for $25) or an armband for unlimited rides ($10 a day for CMA Music Festival ticket holders; $15 a day for the general public). The CMA Music Festival Midway includes everything from games and concessions to rides for children like the Crazy Bus and Dizzy Dragon to more adult thrills including the Scrambler, Cobra and Wipeout.
