There's No Place Like Home For Emerson Drive

After opening their summer tour with Shania Twain in the United States, Emerson Drive returned to their homeland of Canada, where they were welcomed with packed seats in Montreal. Merle Kilgore Hospitalized

Merle Kilgore, NSAI Hall of Fame member, was hospitalized Thursdy, May 13, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. An MRI test resulted in his admittance to the hospital as his L2 vertebrae collapsed. After additional testing, doctors found Kilgore had a blocked heart artery for which he will undergo surgery. Kilgore is best known for co-writing "Ring of Fire" with the late June Carter Cash, which became a signature song for the late Johnny Cash. In addition to his writing credits, Kilgore serves as Executive VP/Hank Williams Jr. Enterprises and Personal Manager to Hank Williams Jr.
