Cash Memorabilia Headed To Auction

One piece at a time, Johnny Cash's guitars, banjos, handwritten lyrics, photographs, vintage black leather clothing, Grammy awards and other belongings will be auctioned this fall by New York auction house Sotheby's. Lila McCann to Perform at CMA Music Fest

Platinum-selling artist Lila McCann is set to perform 4 acoustic songs at the second annual Country Board Festival to be held on June 13, 2004 in Nashville, TN for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The fun kicks off at 2:00 PM at Rocket Town, located on 401 Sixth Avenue South where you can see Lila perform along with a silent auction of Lila memorabilia.

All proceeds collected from the door will be donated to the Nashville chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Lila is currently recording her new album for Broken Bow Records. The first single is set for August with her highly anticipated album slated for October.

Uncle Kracker Added To Performers At CMA Music Festival

Multi-Platinum recording artist Uncle Kracker has been added to the star-packed, opening night lineup Thursday, June 10, at The Coliseum for CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair® -- solidifying it’s growing reputation as “Country Music’s Biggest Party™.”

New Race Going On At The Kentucky Speedway

The 2nd Annual Meijer Country Stampede has caused a new phenomenon in ticket sales with the sales of both online ticket outlets and Meijer store ticket outlets running neck-to-neck. The festival, held at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky, is now only two weeks away, and in order to get advance ticket prices for the only festival in Kentucky offering 20 headlining acts and over 30 hours of music in a four day period, country music enthusiasts must join the race to purchase their passes in advance. As many fans are learning, there are only a few places where you can hear Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum recording artist Reba McEntire and three-time Country Music Association (CMA) Female Vocalist of the Year Martina McBride onstage in one location for one heck of a festival! IFCO Show: A Galaxy Of Music And Star Studded Auction Stages June 8th In Nashville!

The International Fan Club Organization (IFCO) today released its’ ‘crowning touch’ details of what promises to be the biggest music event yet in the organization’s 37 year history, to stage June 8th at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The star studded evening of music will feature an array of both the biggest and newest faces in country music, special guests, a tribute to America’s Armed Forces, and an exciting opportunity to bid on IFCO’s 2004 ‘Silent Auction’ tables, all rolling out to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Latest addition to the performance roster is Brad Cotter, 2004 ‘Nashville Star’ winner in the nationally televised finals. He joins a performance line-up headlined by Tracy Byrd and Mark Wills.
