One thing I will mention is that some of the crowd seemed to talk through their whole show. I think this is awfully rude. If you don't want to see a band play, then you should go outside and talk.
After a 40 minute set, the stage was changed to set up for Sara Evans show, and after a 30 minute intermission, Sara took the stage starting with a song from her latest album, Restless, called "I Feel It Comin' On." Sara was dressed in a black spaghetti string top and jeans. Her hair was cut a bit shorter, and she's highlighted it a bit.
The next song Sara said was for the ladies, and she moved into "I Keep Looking." Then, back to an album cut from Restless called "Rockin' Horse," and "Saints and Angels" followed.
Sara mentioned that it was good to be back, and that she recalled last time she was here she was with child. She said she had a daughter, Olivia Margaret who is now 1 year old and the prettiest little baby in the world. She said her new album Restless was released about four months ago and tonight she'd be playing quite a few of the new songs from it.
Many of her songs are written for her husband Craig, and the next one was very special to her, being as it was also her first No. 1 song, "No Place That Far. After this she sang "To Be Happy.
Sara then teased us saying that she just had a birthday a few days ago and had just turned 21 and now she can go in any bar she wants. Then, she teased some more saying she got no flowers, no cards or anything, and everyone started yelling "Happy Birthday" and various other comments about her birthday, and how we loved her, etc. She said "I'm gonna stand here and let you throw me compliments." Then, getting back on track, she said that even through she was only 21, she is a big fan of REO Speedwagon. She then sang "Take It On The Run."
Sara said that the next song was the first single from her recent album, Restless and it was an amazing story about a young girl in a scary situation that finds the greatest miracle in her live on the "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus."
Sara told us that she and her hubby Craig had just celebrated their 10th anniversary, and the next song fits about any married couple, saying that marriage gets better and better, and she loves her husband more today than when she first met him, and the next song was for him. Then, she sang "Perfect."
