After about a 30 minute wait while the crew broke down the stage, preparing it for Trick Pony's performance, they were finally ready to start their part of the show.

Keith, Ira and Heidi took the stage starting with the title track of their second album, "On a Mission." From there they went into "Love Is a Ball."

Heidi is from Healdsburg, CA, which is fairly nearby and she mentioned that her father was in the audience. She had him stand up, then asked him why he didn't come backstage to give her a hug. Then she said "Come on up and give me one now." As he looked to someone he was sitting with, trying to confirm if she really wanted him to come up, Heidi quipped, "Come on dad, we don't have all night." He made his way to the front of the stage and Heidi introduced him and gave him a big hug.

From there the trio sang "Just What I Need," and then something from their new album called "I Ain't Wasting Good Whiskey On You."

Heidi said that they were honored on their first album to have some of their heroes sing on the album. She said everytime they sing the song live, they dedicate it to Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. The song was of course, "Big River."

Continuing in dedication mode, the band covered Waylon's "Lonesome, 'Onry and Mean."

Heidi mentioned that her mom had passed away about a year ago (I don't remember exactly how long she said, but I believe it was about a year) and one of her band members wrote a song for her mom and gave it to her saying, she could record it, or just keep it for herself. Heidi played it for Keith and Ira and they all agreed that it would be on their next album. The song is called "Mary Ann's Song." This was the first time since she had come home that she had sung the song. It was not something you'd hear on the radio, but very touching.

The energy was kicked back up as the band performed "Just What I Do" and then moved on to a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon." Then, another new song "Good Man in a Bad Way." Heidi said the next song was written about her upcoming wedding and it will be their next single. It was called "The Bride."

After "Pour Me" the band left the stage, only to be called back for an encore. They sang a cover of Tom Petty's "Refugee."

It was great to see the band again. I wish I would have had closer to center stage seats so that maybe I could see better, but I still enjoyed myself a lot.
