Kenny Chesney's "Margaritas 'n' Señoritas Tour" hit Konocti Harbor Resort in Kelseyville, CA on June 21, 2003. The tour features Keith Urban and Deana Carter along with Kenny.

I saw Kenny's "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems Tour" last year, and was looking forward to another exciting show.

Deana Carter was the opening act, and was supposed to start at 5:30 pm, however she really started around 6:00 pm. I had never seen Deana before, and was looking forward to her show, having seen both Keith and Kenny before.

To get the closer seats, you had to purchase the pre-concert Fiesta BBQ, which ran from 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm. I went up to the BBQ area around 4:30 and had my steak BBQ, and then headed across the parking lot to the amphitheater at 5:10 pm. By the time I reached my seat in the 7th row, it was 5:15 pm. The show was scheduled to start at 5:30 pm, so I was looking forward to a short wait. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it didn't start on time, it was actually 30 minutes late, at 6:00 pm.

Deana came onstage wearing jeans and a black "Pink Floyd" halter top. She had incense burning on the stage and every so often I got a whiff of it. Nice smell! :)

Deana started her show with the title-cut from her latest album, "I'm Just a Girl." About 60% of the people had arrived, mostly in the general admission bleachers. Up front there were still lots of empty seats, as people continued to file in.

Next, Deana sang one of her older hits, "How Do I Get There From Here." She said how much she liked being on the tour with Kenny and Keith, and that she loved getting to flirt with everyone from the stage. From there she sang another newer song, "There's No Limit.

Deana told us she went out on the lake during the day and had a big time, and hoped everyone else got to have some fun that day as well.

Digging into her older hits, she sang "We Danced Anyway. She then thanked her label, Arista, which she just moved over to from Capitol, where she started her career. She said she is so thankful to be on a label that lets her write and produce her own album, and said it was hard to find a label that did that these days.

Deana said the next song was from her new album and she hoped we'd like it. It was called "Liar."

She ended with her big #1 song, "Strawberry Wine," and then introduced the band, and did a little jam session.

Deana's whole set lasted until 6:30 pm, and she thanked us again for coming, and left the stage.
