This was the first time I had seen any circus acts in between the shows. Two fire eaters were performing right near my seat, and they were fun to watch. Later on I saw a guy that balanced a plate on a stick, and then lastly another guy that had a big long pole with a string on the end and a fake spider that he used to scare some people.
Cledus returned with his "Uh huh..." and reminded everyone about the 2 ACM Awards Rascal Flatts won four nights ago, one for "Song of the Year" for "I'm Movin' On", and one for "Vocal Group of the Year." He also said that Brooks & Dunn won an ACM, but Brad, Aaron, Jeff and himself didn't win a dang thing. He said that this would be his last time out and thanked everyone for the kind welcome.
The guys came out in an elevator. You could see the elevator coming up in the middle of the stage, and when the doors opened, out popped Rascal Flatts. They started the show with "Too Good Is True." Next they sang "This Everyday Love."
The guys then said how they are still in shock over the previous Wednesday at the ACMs, and Jay said how he loved Sin City. They also mentioned that as of now, they've sold over 3 1/2 million records, and they were still in unbelief of that.
Several times during the show, one of the guys would climb on top of the elevator and sing and play from up there.
One of my favorite parts is the same from previous shows. The fiddle player gets to show his stuff with a long solo, which leads into "Prayin' For Daylight."
The guys played for about 50 minutes. And when they left, they did so via the elevator once more. Great show!
