How To Create a Great Country Fan Webpage

By , About.com Guide

There are many places online that allow you to create your own free webpage. Here are some of the things you'll want to include.
Difficulty: Average
Time Required: 120 minutes

Here's How:

  1. Choose a free website where you will house your fan site. You can do this right here at About.com
  2. First you'll want to collect the information you'll want to add to your website.
  3. If you are a member of your favorite star's fan club, you can use his/her biography information to add to your site.
  4. If you visit other sites devoted to your favorite star, remember not to take any photos or other items from their site without their permission.
  5. If you've attended your favorite star's concerts and have pictures, either scan them, or have another person scan them for you.
  6. Again, if you've attended your favorite star's concerts or other events, write your own review or story about it to add to your site.
  7. Some other things that make a good fan site are: including your favorite star's tour schedule, discography, adding polls, & providing fan club info.
  8. Whatever you decide to do, make it your own, and have fun with it. Don't copy other people's work.

Tips:

  1. Make sure that if you add photos to your site that they aren't too large. No one wants to wait forever for graphics to load.
  2. When you get your site looking great, sign up to become an About.com affiliate, and be paid for linking to my site.
