Many country artists have Meet and Greets as part of their fan club benefits. Here are some tips on how to act, so that you and those around you have a pleasant experience.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 15 minutes
Here's How:
- Some fan clubs require you to sign up for a Meet and Greet. Make sure you do this, if it's required, so you're not disappointed at the concert.
- When you arrive, check with the merchandise table to see if the Meet and Greet is scheduled before or after the show.
- When it's time to line up for the Meet and Greet, do so in an orderly manner. Don't push and shove others in line.
- If you are only allowed either an autograph or picture, make up your mind ahead of time, so you don't slow down the line of fans.
- Be polite to the artist, and thank him or her for their time.
- Don't try to hog all the artist's time. They allot a certain time for the Meet and Greet, and it's very unfair if one person uses more time than they're allowed..
- When you're through the line, think back to the experience. It's one you'll surely remember always.
Tips:
- These are just general tips. Be sure to go by your particular fan clubs rules on how the Meet and Greet is handled.
- Do enjoy your meeting with the artist, but try to remember, they're only human like you and me. Try your best not to scream, even though you are really excited.
- The best pen to use for autographs is a Sharpie made by Sanford.
