Guide Review - All That I Am - Daniel Lee Martin

Though there are multiple Keith Urban penned songs on Daniel's debut, he sings them all his unique way and it sounds like Daniel could have written them himself. You can definitely feel that there is a Keith Urban vibe on this album but it's not blatantly obvious because Daniel has his own style to his music.

First release from "All That I Am" is "Homespun Love," which is bound to become someone's favorite song as is "Come Back To The Way It Was," if it is ever released as single. The song has a gospel feel to it as Daniel sings about never losing faith because even though times change, it doesn't mean that you have to change your beliefs. Honky tonk tune lovers should be sure to check out "Lucy Kept Hangin' On," which is a fast paced tale of lives that change throughout the years.

"All That I Am" is solid debut from an emerging country music artist who can sing his heart out, play his heart out, and top both of those off with excellent songwriting that comes from his heart. Taking a chance and leaving the business he was in must have been a huge sacrifice that will hopefully pay off for him in the near future.
