Guide Review - Brian McComas - Brian McComas

While his first two singles stalled in 2002, Brian McComas was given another shot by Lyric Street Records. He recorded five new tracks with Leigh Reynolds and instantly saw a single ("99.9% Sure) rise the charts and into Billboard's Top 10. After that single became popular, Lyric Street Records released the album for fans to purchase.

What a nice album it is too. It may not be "ground breaking" but the CD includes both of the failed singles ("Night Disappear With You" and "I Could Never Love You Enough") and 8 other songs. "You're In My Head" is the newest single from the album and is already inside the Top 40 of the charts. As catchy as "99.9% Sure (I've Never Been Here Before)," the song is sure to be another big hit for Brian. There are at least three more possible singles that could do well for Brian from this CD, "Sixteen Again," "Baby Let Me Be Your Man" and "I'll Always Be There For You."

Anyone who likes either of Brian McComas' hit songs, (or new country music artists in general), should give his self-titled debut CD a chance. It isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread but it sure isn't a coaster either. What the album presents is a talented singer/songwriter with a warm voice that needs to be heard.
