Guide Review - Marty Stuart - 'Country Music'
Marty Stuart has brought real country music back with his latest release. One of the standout songs on the album was co-written by Marty and his wife Connie Smith. Merle Haggard joins Marty Stuart to sing "Farmers Blues." Marty is one of the most talented musician songwriters in Nashville today and has been in the business since childhood. He can be heard singing backup and lending his instrumental skill to many of the hottest projects coming out of Nashville.
Marty took a couple of years off to work on team projects and other things. He spent some time looking for perfect material to include on his album and the result is sure to please even the harshest critic. Songs like "By George" and "If There Ain't There Ought To Be" show off Marty's fun side. "Farmer's Blues," "Sundown in Nashville" and "Tip Your Hat" pay homeage to the music and artists who have been instrumental in the direction country music has taken.
