Guide Review - I'm Just a Girl - Deana Carter

Deana Carter has always provided her listeners songs that are either humorous or touching and "I'm Just A Girl" is no different from her past musical formula.

Taking a different attitude toward videos is what got first single, "There's No Limit," in heavy rotation on country channels due to the steamy content. Two songs co-written with Matraca Berg prove to be radio-worthy. In "You And Tequila" Deana's voice sounds sultry, while in the sing-along tune "Goodbye Train" finds Deana needing to get over a breakup. Dwight Yoakam adds his voice to the wonderful, "Waiting."

This is an enjoyable album for those that have been fans of Deana from the beginning or for those that are just discovering her music.
