Guide Review - I Want My Money Back - Sammy Kershaw
"I Want My Money Back" includes some really good songs and given the right promotion should push Sammy back on the charts. The overall sound of this album is much like when Sammy burst on the country music scene a few years ago. He has some slower, ballad type songs.There are some songs with catchy tempos. And then there are even a couple of just plain fun songs. "Beer, Bait and Ammo" is that perfect redneck song. You can almost hear the mosquitoes whizzing by your ears while you go on a virtual tour of a real southern bait shop.
"Metropolis" goes from small town to big city and back to small town. Sometimes you just shouldn't leave. It also has a really catchy tempo to go with the lyrics that make this small town girl homesick.
