Jennifer Hanson burst upon the country music scene with her debut single "Beautiful Goodbye." It became a Top 10 hit in the early part of 2003 and Capitol Records released her self-titled CD shortly thereafter.
In a time when most female country artists are pining for crossover success, Jennifer states in her bio, that while her songs have a heavy pop/rock influence, she doesn't intend to crossover.
When you add up all the songs, they make Jennifer Hanson’s debut record one cohesive record. Jennifer co-wrote eight of the songs while her husband, Mark Nesler, wrote the other three. Those who liked "Beautiful Goodbye” or the new single "Half A Heart Tattoo" will want to pick up this nice debut.
