Patty Loveless is sticking to her roots, and there is no question that it is where she belongs. 'On Your Way Home' is an album packed full of songs that are perfect for Patty's soulful voice. There are some drums, electric guitar and bass along with some twin fiddles that will knock your socks off. Overall, however, they showcase the acoustic side of things and Patty's voice shines in the spotlight. Her husband, Emory Gordy Jr., produced the album for Pauldin County Productions, Inc. and it is released by Epic Records.

Patty includes something for everyone. There are the classic soul-filled ballads that are perfect for her voice. She has an uncanny ability to just draw you into the song and keep you there. "On Your Way Home" is the perfect example. She also lets us know that she can let loose with the best of them on the rocking Rodney Crowell song, "Lovin' All Night." You can't help but dance along to that one.

This album is an absolute must for the Patty Loveless fan.
