Guide Review - Rainbow Man - Jeff Bates
From the moment people heard Jeff Bates' debut single "The Love Song" on the radio, many of them though he sounded like the late Conway Twitty. After one listen to the whole "Rainbow Man" CD, that thought is affirmed by the sturdy collection of songs contained on the album.
Jeff can sing soft tender ballads ("The Love Song," "Rainbow Man") honky tonkers ("My Inlaws Are Outlaws") and the delta blues ("My Mississippi") as well as any singer to arrive in Nashville in the past 20 years.
