Guide Review - See If I Care - Gary Allan
Gary Allan has been around for eight years in the country music business and keeps on releasing material that has a great amount of quality and a sound that is easy to listen to even if there is a bit of a cool sounding edge at times. With every release, his voice sounds better and better which really is something because his voice was wonderful to begin with.First single, "Tough Little Boys," grabbed ahold of radio listener's heart as it claimed the top spot on the Billboard Chart for at least two weeks. The next single is "Songs About Rain," where songs like Willie Nelson's "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" are mentioned as the man in the song wants to hear happy songs but only sad ones are being played on the radio. "Guys Like Me," one of my personal favorites, has a Buck Owens/ Bakersfield sound to it that will knock your socks off.
Gary's talent shines through on the release and the song selects are perfectly suited for his voice. The only bad thing about this album is the fact that there are only eleven songs, and I would have loved to hear a bunch more.
