Guide Review - Heather Myles - Sweet Talk & Good Lies
Heather Myles has a take-charge, solid country voice of the sort not heard on country radio in over a decade. With a powerful alto that commands attention, Heather takes on honky-tonk country music with a muscle that only a very few female singers have dared. She weaves sharp and witty lyrics to crisp melodies. All throughout the album, Heather displays a mighty songwriting ability as well as her strong vocals; she writes all but two of the 13 songs, adding for her last two songs excellent covers of classics "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" and "Cry Me A River."
This tremendous disc is a must-have for country music lovers.
