Guide Review - Time Flies - Billy Ray Cyrus
With "Time Flies," Billy Ray presents the real country music he does so well. He caresses lyrics with the tenderness of a lover or the gentle affection of a father. The disc is largely comprised of songs which have appeared on Billy Ray's PAX series, "Doc."The disc also includes a number of songs he has been doing live that fans have been asking him to record, and an acoustic re-recording of what is probably his best song ever, "Some Gave All."
Billy Ray Cyrus has fought long and hard for well-deserved critical recognition and obviously continues to hope to return to the radio which banished him so long ago. I hope I hear the first single, "Back To Memphis," on the radio. Billy Ray (and his fans) deserves it.
