Guide Review - Blue County - Blue County
After the fun Good Little Girls leads off the album, the catchy That Summer Song tells an up tempo story of how certain songs tend to be imprinted with certain memories in our minds. With an acoustic intro, Sunday Driver is a bluegrass tinged track telling a story of a guy so in love that he takes his time getting to where hes going. Jon Randall co-wrote Sounds Like Home with Aaron and its a beautiful song with romantic lyrics like your voice sounds like home to me. Ride On is touching ballad while the poignant Walk On Water ends the CD with a song that returns Aaron to his gospel roots.
With 12 expertly produced tracks, Blue County has a whopper of a debut album on their hands. The Top 10 bound debut single isnt the only hit on the record. Virtually every track has a shot at radio airplay. Those looking for a fun, diverse album should check Blue Countys self-titled debut out.
