Guide Review - Buck and Roll - Various Artists
This is a great Rock and Roll album with country lyrics talking about Bull Riding and what goes along with it. One slow song saying "If I Can Just Hold On" talking just what the title says. A Bull Rider just trying to hold on with all his might, and getting hurt while being bucked off and barley hanging on. And what a wonderful Rendition of "And The Crowd Goes Wild" an upbeat song with a bit of a rap tune the way they sing it.Written by Mark McClurg, "Cowboy To The Core" is a great song. If you ever get the chance to see Mark McClurg and Wade Hayes of "McHayes" sing this one at a concert, you'll know what I mean. They do a fabulous job and really make this one come alive. An AC/DC type tune at first, thats makes you want to "Stomp" is why I think the Rock and Rollers are going to love this album.
A bull rider talks about just trying to make it to the finals in "Vegas" for the PBR. A little echo in the voice, which makes it a little different than the rest. Mentions the "Thomas and Mack" where the finals are held. All and all a real good album with a variety of musical instruments played around with. Some sounds on this album that reminds me of Van Halen and others. A great addition to any Rock & Roll collection.
