Guide Review - Lee Ann Womack - Greatest Hits

This is a collection from her four albums of Lee Ann's seven-year career. It has her biggest hit to date, in which her two daughters appeared in the video with her, "I Hope You Dance". This got her a female vocalist of the year award in 2001 and also crossed over into pop.

The traditional country sound in "Never Again, Again" her first single from 1997 which went to #2 on country charts is one of my favorites. The song from her 1998 album "Some Things I Know" as only Lee Ann can sing it "A Little Past Little Rock," was thought to be a voice most often compared to Dolly Parton's.

This album also contains the #1 smash "The Fool" and the very fun song "I'll Think Of A Reason Later" another favorite of mine. It has the variety of Lee Ann's hits, some serious and some not so serious along with a duet with Willie Nelson "Mendocino County Line" from his Lost Highway release "The Great Divide" that won a Grammy and a CMA award in 2002.

I recommend this album to anyone, who loves country.
