Guide Review - Let's Be Us Again - Lonestar
It's been nearly three years since Lonestar released their last studio album. This one is a continuation of the good music, most of it co-written by members of the band. From the fun "Mr. Mom" where the husband takes a turn staying home with the kids while the wife works, thinking he's in for some long naps and lots of TV, ends up with "melted Pampers," and continuous repeats of Barney.
In "From There To Here," the band sings with Randy Owen of Alabama. The song takes you through three storylines; the Wright Brothers, a couple after 50-years together, and a four member garage band that ends up famous.
My favorite track is the soaring ballad "What I Miss The Most" which has the makings of another big hit. "T.G.I.F." is a romp that talks about how people can't wait for the weekend.
In the title track, the guy in the song talks about how he wants to make things right again in their relationship. The song is currently at No. 9 on Billboard's singles charts, and headed higher.
The upcoming single, "Somebody's Someone" talks about the men and women that die in war and how you may not know them, they were "Somebody's Someone," and how we should all never forget these brave people that give their lives for our freedom.
Fans of Lonestar's previous two albums will love this as well. Lots of country pop tunes to go around, and ones you'll be singing along with after a listen or two.
