Things to do

While you're in Nashville for Fan Fair, you'll most likely want to see some other sites, besides the Adelphia Coliseum and where the nightly shows are held, and the Nashville Convention Center, where you can meet the stars for autographs, and the Riverfront Park, where daytime concerts are held.

  • Andy Griggs Archery Tournament will be held in the Coliseum Parking Lot "R East" on Thursday, June 9th from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. It's free to attend.
  • Lorrie Morgan, Sammy Kershaw, and Jamie O'Neal host Monday Madness, a benefit for Lymphatic Research Foundation. The event will be held at the Wildhorse Saloon on Monday, June 6th at 7pm. Other singers who will perform include Roxie Dean, John Conlee, Ron Williams and special guest stars from the Grand Ole Opry including Leona Williams and Jeannie Seely. There will be an auction for a fiddle autographed by Charlie Daniels, and 10 autographed guitars as well.
  • Grand Ole Opry
    The Grand Ole Opry shows are on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The Tuesday night show lasts 2 hours and on Friday and Saturday the shows lasts 2 1/2 hours. The line-up for each the performances are released on Wednesday the week of the show. Ticket prices range from $29.50- $44.50 for adults and for Children age 4-11 $21.50- $44.50. Children age 3 and under are free if they can sit in your lap. Buy your tickets on Ticketmaster, or you can call (615) 889-3060. The shows at the Grand Ole Opryhouse are on Tuesday at 7pm, Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm. There is also a matinee held at the Ryman Auditorium on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
  • CMT will be taping their "100 Greatest Duets" show on Wednesday night at 7:30 at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster or by phone at 615-255-9600, or on CMT.com
  • Superstar Spectacular will be held at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, June 9th at 11pm. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster. The lineup of artists hasn't been announced yet.
  • The City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game, held at Greer Stadium, usually the Thursday afternoon of CMA Music Festival week. Watch the stars compete against each other for charity. Buy your Tickets.
  • IFCO Fun Fest has been held since before the CMA Music Festival or Fan Fair even existed. It will be held at the Ryman on Tuesday, June 7th at 7:30 pm. You can order your tickets at the IFCO website. This year's lineup will include headliner Craig Morgan with Jimmy Wayne, Aaron Lines, Jason Aldean, Chalee Tennison, Connie Smith, Bryan White, Con Hunley, Trick Pony, Mark Wills, with a special presentation of the IFCO Tex Ritter Award to Bill Anderson. Other artists to be announced later.
  • Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam - Will be held Wednesday night at the Ryman Auditorium, June 8th. See Marty and friends perform from 11:00 pm - 2:00 am. Artists will be Marty & His Fabulous Superlatives, Earl Scruggs, Dierks Bentley, Shooter Jennings, Holly Williams, Miranda Lambert. Buy your tickets at Ticketmaster.
  • CMA Celebrity Close Up - Hosted by Lorianne Crook. Artists to be announced. Held at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, June 9th at 4:30 pm. Tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster. There is a second CMA Celebrity Close Up on Friday, June 10th at 4:30 pm, with Travis Tritt and Trisha Yearwood, and you can buy tickets at Ticketmaster.
  • Golden Voice Awards - has been held in various locations. Usually on the Thursday morning of CMA Music Festival week.
  • Brenda Lee will host Sunday Morning Country at the Ryman Auditorium at 2:30 pm on Sunday, June 12th. Buy your tickets at Ticketmaster.
  • Country Music Hall of Fame
  • Bluebird Cafe
  • Ryman Auditorium
  • Wildhorse Saloon
  • General Jackson Steamboat

The Nashville Convention and Visitor's Bureau has Coupons for discounts on everything from attractions, tours, dining, lodging, and shopping. Go visit their site to print out the coupons.
