| Trisha Yearwood Concert Review | |

After a 20 minute intermission, Trisha was ready to hit the stage, and she came out singing "Perfect Love." From that, she launched into "XXX's and OOO's (American Girl)," and then "Baby I Lied."
Trisha thanked everyone for coming. The concert had been rescheduled from a previous date last September, and Trisha said she was really glad that we stuck with her after September 11th. She then went on to say that with eleven years under her belt, she's got more songs to sing now, so that means less talking. "But," she went on, "if you know me, you know that ain't gonna happen."
Trisha's banter with the audience is one of the things I really enjoy about her concerts. She is comfortable with everyone, and she's not afraid to make jokes and laugh.
Her next tune was the one she performed as a duet with former Eagle, Don Henley, "Walkaway Joe." After that song she sang a new song from her latest album, Inside Out, which she said is a happy song with a depressing title called "Love Alone."
"Love Alone" has some big octave changes that really stretch Trisha's beautiful voice, and when she was done, she said that she gets asked a lot if she does anything special to prepare her voice to sing. She said she doesn't, but after that song, maybe she should have.
Trisha told us about her dog, who is 13-years-old, and named Rosanne. She said when she used to sing around the house, the dog would leave the room, cuz she was too loud. But, now that her dog is older, she can't hear as well, so she thinks Trisha's singing is great.
Next on the list was "Thinkin' About You." Then, Trisha mentioned the beautiful location, and the acomodations, and said that the hotel should know better than to put her up in a room with a fireplace and a hot tub. She might not make the show on time.

As usual, Trisha put on a wonderful show. I was a bit disappointed that she didn't sing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," as I wanted my mom to hear her version, as it's so great. I for one, will always go see Trisha when she's out my way. I can never get tired of her beautiful voice, and her fun personality.
