The Musician of the Year nominees are:
This has to be the hardest category for me, seeing as these artists are generally in the background. Last year's winner, Randy Scruggs wasn't nominated this year. These are the cream of the crop of a-list studio musicians, but I'll go with Dann Huff who has also successfully produced Lonestar, Faith Hill, SHeDAISY, and Shane Minor. Dann's my pick in this category.
Who Will Win?
Again, all the musicians nominated are excellent players, and can be found on the most successful country records out there, but Dann Huff's name just seems to be more visible, and I'm gonna have to go with him on this one.
