The Music Video of the Year nominees are:
I have two favorites in this category. I love He Didn't Have To Be. It said so much for step-parenting. But I also love I Hope You Dance. I've gone with Brad on most of the other nominations. This time I think I have to go with Lee Ann. The interaction between her and her children in this video is so precious, and the song is wonderful.
Who Will Win?
Any category with Faith Hill in it is probably one that she's a strong contender for. She is nominated in six categories. Goodbye Earl was so controversial, and as far as charts go, it didn't do as well as other Dixie Chicks songs, but the video did well. Brad Paisley's He Didn't Have To Be was a landmark video with a great family theme. Toby Keith's sassy How Do You Like Me Now?! was fun to watch and sing along with. But in the end, I Hope You Dance will pick up this award. The song is the most current, and is one with such a special message, as well as being great musically.
