Garth means different things to different people. Here are some of the words that I think fit him, from A to Z. |
|
| A | Association Fans of Garth are part of the "Association." |
| B | Baby Blues Those eyes... need I say more? |
| C | Concerts Garth lives to perform, and we the fans hope to be able to be lucky enough to see him do so. |
| D | The Dance This is Garth's personal favorite, as well as many other fans. "The Dance" will always represent Garth to me. |
| E | Energy When you see Garth live in concert, you can't help but see the total energy the man gives off. He feeds off the energy of the audience and bounces it right back. |
| F | Family Family is the most important thing in Garth's life. He'd do anything for them. |
| G | George Strait Wanna-be Garth is a huge fan of George Strait. From the time he first heard him singing "Unwound" back in 1980, he's always been a "George Strait Wanna-be." |
| H | Humble Garth has never been one to brag about his talent. He's got to be one of the most humble people I've ever seen. |
| I | Incredible There are times I think about all the things Garth has accomplished, and I think that he's nothing short of incredible. |
| J | Jukebox Someday I'd love to own an old-fashioned jukebox. On it would be nothing but Garth songs. |
| K | Kodak ® Moment Witnessing the two concerts that I have, I would have to say that every moment with Garth is a "Kodak ® Moment." |
| L | Loving In any appearance I've seen Garth, when he's been with his family, or friends, he's come off as one of the most loving people I've seen. I especially love the way he teases Trisha Yearwood, almost like a brother. It's easy to see what a loving heart he has. |
| M | Music I need only quote Garth to show the relevance of this word: "If God came down with a box that had the reason for living in it, I'd like to find just two words. The music. That would be neat." |
| N | No Fences Garth's biggest selling album. So many great songs on it, "Unanswered Prayers," "The Thunder Rolls," and of course, "Friends in Low Places." |
| O | Oklahoma Garth's home state. |
| P | Polite It never fails to impress me, the polite way that Garth has with everyone he meets. I love to watch him take off his hat when he makes reference to George Strait. How he calls people Ma'am, and Sir. Shows what a great job, his mama and daddy did in raising him. |
| Q | Quality Every album Garth has ever released has been quality. Every performance, he gives his very best. Garth doesn't just do things to get them done, he takes his time and gets it right. |
| R | "..one hell of a RIDE." This quote from "Cowboys and Angels" fits a Garth concert to a tee. He makes every one different. Always giving you his hits, but alternating his newer songs. Sometimes it's rowdy and you get up and dance, and other times it's almost spiritual, with flames glowing in the dark as Garth sings. |
| S | Shameless Swivel Love to watch the Man do this famous move during "Shameless." |
| T | Talent No doubt about it, Garth has talent in abundance. |
| U | Unanswered Prayers Always a highlight of a live concert, when Garth sings "Unanswered Prayers," and the audience sings along, he's so visibly touched, it's awesome to watch. During the concert I attended in San Jose, Garth threw his guitar up in the air behind him and got down on his knees on the edge of the stage and lifted his hands in the air, as if thanking God for the wonderful fans he has. |
| V | Vivacious This definitely fits Garth. He has so much energy, I get tired just watching him run all over the stage. |
| W | Wild Garth has a calm side, and he has a wild side. It's the wild side you see in concert, when he runs and jumps on his rope ladder and sings. |
| X | X-tra Special The more I learn about him, the more I realize what an x-tra special man he is. *sigh* :) |
| Y | "Much Too YOUNG (To Be This Damn Old)" Garth's first single, and one of his sentimental favorites. He still loves hearing it on the radio. |
| Z | Zeal Garth's enthusiasm is catching, especially when watching him in concert. You get all caught up in the music. |
