Billy Ray Cyrus played two shows at the Alameda County Fair on June 26th. It was opening day, and the skies were clear, the weather hot, and Billy Ray made it even more so, dressed in his black muscle shirt, underneath a short sleeve black top, with tight black leather pants, black boots, and a black hat to match. I can't imagine how he stood the heat in those pants, myself. I was really sweating up a storm, and I had a short sleeved top and shorts on.
The show took place in an outdoor amphitheater. The seats were aluminum benches, and by the time we arrived, it was about 5:15 pm. The show started at 6:00 pm. There was a second show at 8:00 pm, but my husband didn't want to stay.
This was my first time seeing Billy Ray, and I found his concert to be very enjoyable. Here is the set list:
I was a little disappointed that he didn't sing I Give My Heart To You, but maybe he sang it at the second show.

All in all a great time. Billy Ray puts on a great show, and I'd definitely see him again, if he came back around this way.
