I have decided to make this week's article about Don Willams. I think he is one of the greatest country music singers ever.

Birthday: May 27th 1939 in Floydada Texas, and was raised in Portland Texas.

Married: April 10th 1960 to Joy Bucher. They have two sons Gary and Tim.

First Public Performance: Don was three years old and he won a local talent contest. His prize was an alarm clock.

First Paid Gig: His first paid gig came when he and a group of friends played for a service station opening. They were paid the grand sum of twenty-five dollars.

Don Williams was the first country music singer to do a concept music video. He did a video for his song "Come Early Morning" in 1973.
