Dateline: July 3, 2000

Photo copyright Ron Newcomer - Used with permission I remember the first time I heard a song called "Maybe It Was Memphis" by a great new artist Pam Tillis. The strength and the softness in her voice just blew me away and ever since then with great songs like "In Between Dances," "Blue Rose Is," and "Spilled Perfume," she continues to affect me the same way.

Pam as we all know is the daughter of the great country music star Mel Tillis. Now with 2 platinum, 1 gold album, and several Grammy nominations, the newest member of the Grand Old Opry (she'll be inducted on August 26, 2000), has more then proven herself a star in her own right.

Pam Tillis latest release is "Super Hits," which will hit stores on July 18, 2000. It includes her great songs like "Dont Tell Me What To Do," "Cleopatra (Queen Of Denial)," and the very haunting "River and The Highway"
