As an added bonus, the newly recorded and controversial single, "This Ain't No Rag, It's A Flag" is included. Recorded as a response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, this heartfelt song has brought Charlie and his band much needed radio exposure. It is the highest ever-charting single on Billboard's Country Singles Chart for Audium/Koch records. "Road Dogs" is the title track from the band's last record. This song is truly a great intro song for the CD. It rocks really hard and Charlie's guitar playing and vocals are top-notch. The song is about how the band loves to travel and see the fans. "Simple Man" is another controversial song. However, Charlie has never been one to mince words, he simply says what he feels consequences be dammed. On this track this song talks about following the laws of the Bible and stopping all the problems in the world. "Still In Saigon" is about army veterans of Vietnam. Since September 11th, this song has truer meaning. One of Charlie's classic rock songs, It sounds great here live. Again the lyrics of "In America" are more meaningful since the attacks. Just take a listen to the lyrics like, "this lady may have stumbled, but she ain't never fell," and it's not hard to tell how much Charlie loves living here in America. The band sounds great backing Charlie's vocals. With the cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird," the band closes out three tributes to some classic '70s bands. Here Charlie sings great and the guitar playing is as sorrow full as the original. This may be the best cover of this song that I have ever heard. "Long Haired Country Boy" is one of those classic seventies country rock songs. One listen to it and I'm hooked. It was written and recorded before I was born but it still is a great song. Rounding out the record is the bands most well known hit, the country music classic, "The Devil Went Down To Georgia." With Charlie's hot fiddle playing, and the band's tight sound, this track is as great as it was on the original record. This song is also one of my favorite songs that I have ever heard. With the great musicianship and the feel of actually going to the concert, this CD is one of the best live CDs I have ever had the chance to hear. I await the next time this band arrives in my area so I can see them for myself. I would recommend this CD to anyone. Song List:
